Campus Gym and Classes

This gym is a fantastic community facility with something for everyone. We have members of all ages and abilities, both male and female. Whether you want to lose weight, build muscle or just socialise with friends then this could be the place for you!
There is a wide range of aerobic equipment, such as jogging machines, bikes, cross trainers and a rowing machine. We also have a superb selection of weights including 2 Olympic barbells and dumbbells ranging from 2.5kg – 50kg, and a range of resistance equipment.
Ally McLean and Pauline McKenzie are the gym instructors at the campus who work for active Stirling. They are both fully qualified and very experienced. You will find them extremely approachable and willing to help you in any way possible.
To join the gym you have to have a gym induction which is FREE. This will give you basic information about how to use the equipment and all safety aspects of the facility. This can be booked at the campus reception – Tel 01786 272300. After this you can now become a member for only £50 per year if you are a Raploch resident or for £10 per month if you live out with the Raploch. Another option is to pay for each session as you go!
Personal fitness programmes can also be designed for you by Ally or Pauline, where they meet you on a one-to-one basis to find out your specific requirements. They then design an exercise regime tailor made for your needs. Fitness assessments can also be booked to assess your weight, body composition, strength, flexibility and aerobic fitness. These can be booked at a small charge.
Active Stirling also runs additional fitness classes at the Campus sports hall including circuit training, tai chi, aerobics and step and tone.
