Keep Well Stirling - helping you take steps that matter
Keep Well Stirling offers a free and confidential health check by a qualified nurse for people aged 24-65 years living in Raploch. This involves simple checks for conditions like heart disease and offers suggestions and support for improving your health. The check is a chance to make a positive difference to your health. As well as cutting your possible risk of future disease the support it offers can help you feel better now. The check is also a chance for you to talk about your own health worries and niggles. Because our local programme has a small team with a range of health experience who work in partnership, we can work with you to improve your health and well being.
The Keep well team of trained key workers offers a range of support including smoking cessation, holistic therapy, nutrition advice, food budgeting and cooking skills workshops. Keep Well Stirling also provides support and advice to individuals who would like to enter employment or training. One to one sessions and group sessions can be arranged depending on what suits you best.
By offering a confidential person-centred approach, the specific needs of individuals are prioritised and dealt with sensitively and considerately.
